Communication

The web site is our digital hub. It contains public facing information about what we do, who we are and how to contact us.  It has a members only area where we list the members and events we are running, merchandise, club constitution and more.

The WhatsApp groups, we have many, are available on smart phones, desktop computers and via a web browser. We do have a general chat group but if you have a lot to say the Facebook Group is probably better to avoid flooding members phones. We also have an Admin Account group for push notifications about events and meetings.

A closed Group by invite only for the clubs volunteers to organise and manage events, meets and shows.

Email is used as the primary mechanism to tell members about events and other things related to the club and its activities.  Subscribing to our calendar will also keep you up to date with event/meeting dates.  

If you are not receiving emails please check you spam folder and settings. If the email is not being caught in your spam filter then it maybe blocked by your email provider; contact them for help. The clubs email system is setup as per best practice and best configuration available so we cannot help with email delivery beyond this. 

The calendar is accessible via the WebCal protocol at this address. You can use this link to integrate our event list with your mobile, laptop or desktop computer calendar.  

We use Instagram to advertise the club by attracting followers, and follow interesting accounts to see what's happening in the automotive world.

We use a Facebook Page to advertise the club and a Facebook Private Group for collaboration between club members.

Use the Facebook Group if you want to start more than a simple quick chat, but a longer conversation with other club members. This will free up our WhatsApp chat group, especially for those with storage space challenges on their phones!
