You'd be surprised how many classic vehicle owners don't belong to clubs or do but don't often get out with them.
We've all been to shows and meets and come across people who spend hours on the car or bike but don't often get to talk to people about it.
We want to be a vehicle that enables people to get together, connects them and allows them to find someone to hang out with.
If you think you know someone who would benefit, whether they own a vehicle or just have an interest, then ask them if they want to join us.
We communicate online, by phone or a knock on the door and ask others if they'd like to get out for a ride or drive to have a chat and socialise.
This can be a simple passenger ride on a short loop around the countryside or a longer run out with several people.
It could be in convoy to a venue for a refreshment, or to a meeting somewhere for a day or evening which gets us out and about.
Don't wait to be asked; if you have an idea, get started by pinging the WhatsApp group and let the membership know what you want to do and what help you need.
This process should result in the rebuilding of real-world connections in our community and an improvement in peoples moods and, therefore, their health, both physical and mental.
This will help not just the people we help but also our own health and happiness.
The end result should be a more connected and caring community in the area we live, people helping others and themselves in the process.
